Mitchell dedicated part of the proceeds from the sales of her CD to Alzheimer's research in honor of a former voice teacher and mentor. "The project has culminated into a recording of love for a very dear friend. I pray this contribution will help advance the research that is being done for Alzheimer's to help others who struggle with this disease," Mitchell said during the check presentation ceremony January 8, 2004 at the Rochester, NY offices of the Alzheimer's Association.

Comments:
"I want to tell you how much I've enjoyed "Ever the Winds." I have a 5-slot CD player and it sits in the number one spot so that it comes up each time I turn it on. You and your daughter make a beautiful sound together. My best to you and Kerri for the future."  -Tom Rooney

"We enjoy playing "Ever the Winds" for relaxation and also in appreciation for your beautiful voices. 'What a Wonderful World' when a person decides I will live 'In a World of My Own' and fly 'On My Father's Wings.'" - Art and Brenda Reimherr
